COSMETIC CREATIONS
“Creation”, is considered to be a divine act, by which, according to various religious and philosophical traditions, the world was brought into existence. The recently concluded event titled “Cosmetic Creations” seemed to be yet one more divine act in the world of aesthetic dentistry. Technically the 16th annual conference of the Indian Academy of Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry, “Cosmetic Creations” was much more than just another conference. Outwardly it had all the trappings of a dental meet. Keynote presentations, a trade show, free communications, posters, a banquet evening all that is expected from such an event.
On the other hand, the actual experience of all of the above generated a feeling of things very different and far more enjoyable, far more in content and volume, far more innovative, essentially an experience which was more like a “Cosmic Creation” rather than a mere “Cosmetic Creation”.
