INTENSE INTROSPECTION - Presidents Voice “Intense Introspection”, the second event of the year 2008 for the Indian Academy of Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry (IAACD) was successfully conducted on the 31st of May & 1st of June, 2008. The plush setting of “Aamby Valley”, Lonvala was the venue for the in house conference. Intense Introspection was conceived of as a high level, academic deliberation by clinician on dental areas pertaining to Aesthetic Dentistry. Keeping this focus in mind it was decided to have an almost closed door meeting limited to a handfull of very keen and interested delegates. The target of 40 delegates had to be upward revised due to the tremendous interest evinced by the dental fraternity. Over 50 professionals attended the program and the redemption was the fact that almost no delegate stirred from the three scientific sessions and almost all very actively participated in the open house which followed each session.
